Purpose: To inform the community at large about our organizations' efforts to not only do all that we can to retain power generation at the Duke Energy plants here, but to also share other strides that we are and have been taking to replace any lost jobs and tax base that may result in a transition or closure at the plants and to develop a strategy to effectively engage the citizens of Person County in these efforts.
