Roxboro Christian Academy

Founded in 1976, the Roxboro Christian Academy (RCA) seeks to enrich the lives of students by providing a quality, Christ-centered academic environment. The school has a Christian creed but is not affiliated with any specific religious denomination. “We have weekly chapel services at both the elementary and high school levels so that we can share scriptural insights with them at an age-appropriate level,” says Nena Morton, principal of two years and former teacher. The school has about 140 students and offers classes for K-4 through the 12th grade. A dedicated faculty and staff of 20 help to ensure the success of the students. RCA offers two courses of study; a career-oriented program and a college-prep program.

For athletics, Roxboro Christian Academy has boys’ soccer and basketball teams. Girls may participate in volleyball, basketball and softball.

“We offer a great academic education with Christian principles interwoven into the curriculum,” says Mrs. Morton. “We have a small student-to-teacher ratio and a tremendous support network for families who seek to instill Christian values in their children.”

Sneed Academy
Our program is grounded in principles of student development and is centered on the various needs, interests, and learning styles of student. We are committed to the development of the whole student. We work closely with the parents to foster social, emotional, physical, and aesthetic growth as well as the development of academic skills and knowledge. We are keenly aware of the individuality of each student. Therefore, our expectations for achievement are based on each student's individual readiness.
