| Brick
Award Proposal |
| The Brick Award was developed to recognize the contribution businesses
make to the community when they expand, renovate or improve their facilities.
This award will be presented at Coffee Hour as warranted. The Chamber's
operating budget will pay for the bricks and the engraving. Nominations
for the Brick Award will be received at the Chamber from the membership
at large. |

| Membership
Directory |
| A directory is published of all chamber members in alphabetical and
categorical listings. The directory provides the mailing and physical
address(es), telephone, e-mail and fax numbers of each member. One copy
of the directory is provided to each member business free of charge. There
is a small charge for additional directories and for directories requested
by nonmembers. A membership directory is distributed to anyone expressing
an interest in the Person County area. |

| Coffee
Hour |
| Guest speakers address a variety of topics at a monthly breakfast open
to the public. Sponsorship by chamber members makes this event possible. |

| Business
After Hours |
| Open exclusively to chamber members, this event is hosted and sponsored
by chamber members at their locations and provides an opportunity for
informal networking. |
| |
| Annual
Banquet |
| Over 300 people gather each January as the incoming Chairman-of-the-Board
and members of the Chamber Board of Directors take office and appreciation
is expressed to outgoing officers. Well-known guest speakers are featured
each year. |

| Gift
Certificate Program |
| A cooperative effort between the RACC, several local industries and
participating merchants to encourage patronizing of local businesses.
Gift certificates are available for purchase by individuals and businesses. |

| Leadership
Person County |
| A 12 week leadership development course designed to ensure a continuing
reservoir of leadership talent for the future. A reduced tuition fee is
extended to chamber members. |

| Small
Business Seminars |
| Mini courses and workshops offered at no charge or for a nominal fee.
Cosponsored by the Chamber and PCC Small Business Center. Course listings
and location appear on the monthly Chamber Report calendar. |

| Personality |
| An annual two day festival held in September featuring craft booths,
industry and civic group exhibits, children's games, concessions, tee-shirt
sales and a wide variety of entertainment. |

| Honor
Card Program |
| A reward for Person County students who maintain A or A/B grade averages
or who have perfect attendance for a semester. The student recipient of
an Honor Card is entitled to discounts at area participating merchants. |

| Industrial
Relations |
| Committee Representatives from different industries meet monthly to
share technological ideas, trends, information about resources and training
or numerous other topics of concern to the business community. On occasion,
the group tours a local industry to gain firsthand knowledge about the
operation. |

Retreat |
Chamber members gather in the fall to address issues and
generate ideas, strategies and actions for the future of Person County.

Awards Banquet |
Sponsored by the RACC and the North Carolina Department of Labor to
recognize the safety achievements of local businesses, industries, schools
and governmental agencies.

City Week |
| Recognizes and celebrates the contributions of agriculture to Person

| Written to reflect the RACC's stand on current issues. |

| Washington
Issues Conference |
| A two-day conference in Washington, DC is hosted by our local Representative
in the US General Assembly. Attendees have an opportunity to speak with
their Representative and tour some nonpublic governmental buildings. |
